What is a Jamboard?
Today was the first time I have ever heard of something called a Jamboard. Today we had to create a jamboard of our origin myths with a summary, some pictures and we had to describe our theme. I was definitely stuck at first but I was able to pick it up soon later.
A project????
Today we were announced that we would be creating our own origin myth. My first thoughts are fear because I have never read an origin myth let alone wrote one but Mr Rease reassured us that it'll be okay and we are all excited to start.
Native American Notes
Today we learned a few notes on Native American origins and how they wrote their literature. It was very interesting to see how Native Americans viewed their own literature.
School Dress Code
Today we learned how to analyze text from articles about certain topics. We also learned how to create questions, underline statements and circle any words that we don’t understand. We were able to discuss and answer questions about the topic of the article and hold a discussion about the dress code topic.
Introduction
My name is Kevin and my expectations and goals for this academic year are to always turn in my work on time and keep myself focused in all my classes so I’ll be done by December. I would like to learn poetry and short stories specifically Edgar Allen Poe because I like the combination of poetry and horror themed stories.
